CARBON STEEL

EN19, also recognized 708M40 in BS 970 standard, is a high-quality alloy steel for general mechanical and engineering purposes. EN19 steel is characterized by its 1% chromium and molybdenum content. It is also regarded as equivalent steel grade to 42CrMo4 steel in EN standard or 4140 steel in ASTM standard. EN19 steel material is known for its excellent combination of toughness, strength, and wear resistance. It is widely used to make components for machinery, automotive parts, gears, shafts, axles, and other applications. The “EN” prefix indicates that EN19 conforms to European standards, and the number “19” specifies a particular steel grade within the EN standards.

1. EN 19 Steel Supply Ability :

FMT can supply you both EN 19 steel plate and round bar.

EN19 Round Bar: diameter 8mm – 600mm

EN 19 Steel Plate: thickness 4mm – 50mm x width 200mm – 2500mm

EN19 Steels Square: 20mm – 90mm

2. EN 19 Specification , BS 970 Standard

Here you have a different equivalent to EN19 grade steel which belongs to BS 970 Standard
